Gold started
with Avani, Avani Lekhara won the first gold shooting event for the country in Paralympic Games. Avni from Jaipur won the gold medal by securing first position in the women’s R-2 10m Air Rifle Standing SH1.

The second gold for India came in the account of Sumit Antil in the javelin throw. Sumit won the gold medal with a world record in the F64 category of Javelin Throw. He won the medal in the final with a best throw of 68.55 metres.

The third gold came in the account of 19-year-old shooter Manish Narwal. Manish won the gold medal in the mixed 50m SH1. Narwal scored 209.1 in the final.

And two golds came in badminton. Pramod Bhagat won 4th Gold in SL3. In SH6, Krishna Nagar gave India gold on the last day.
