In the last match of the T20 series against England, the West Indies team won on the basis of Jason Holder’s brilliant bowling. Thanks to this win, the team won the series 3-2. Former captain Holder took wickets in four consecutive balls in the match and changed the course of the match. Batting first, West Indies team scored 174 for 4 in the deciding T20I. In reply, the entire England team was bundled out for 162 runs in 19.5 overs.

In the first two matches of the 5-match series, there was a fierce competition between both the teams. In the last match, the team of England and West Indies had come out with the intention of winning the series with a draw of two each. Batting first, the hosts scored 174 runs thanks to 41 runs from captain Kieron Pollard. England needed 20 runs off 6 balls but Holder took four wickets in a row and put the Windies in the bag of the match.

Jason Holder 4 wickets in 4 balls, historic hat-trick

Former West Indies captain Holder bowled a historic over against England. The first ball of the last over was a no. Here the England team got two runs. No run was scored on the next ball. On the second ball, he got Chris Jordan caught by Walsh Jr. Sam Billings also caught Walsh on the third ball. Now Holder was on a hat-trick. He created history by getting Adil Rashid caught by Dwayne Smith on the next ball. He became the first bowler from the West Indies team to do so in T20. Got the fourth wicket by dismissing Shakib Mahmood on the next ball.

Four wickets in four balls

Earlier in T20 cricket, three bowlers have taken four wickets in four balls. Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan, Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga and Ireland’s Kurtis Kamper have done this feat. Kamper did this feat in the last year’s T20 World Cup in the UAE.
